Electronic voting systems for session rooms
We integrate electronic voting on top of conference systems for municipal councils, regional governments and boards. Real-time results, automatic recording and traceability of every resolution.
For municipal councils, regional councils and boards, ProAVCom integrates electronic voting into the conference system with Vissonic units such as the VIS-DVC and the flush-mount VIS-DVU-FS2: each member votes from their seat and the result is recorded for the minutes.
What is an electronic voting system and how does it work?
An electronic voting system lets each delegate cast their vote from their conference unit and the result is processed and displayed immediately. It replaces the manual show-of-hands count with a transparent, fast and verifiable process, in which every vote is tied to an agenda item and a timestamp. Voting is integrated as a function of the conference system: the same unit that manages the floor adds buttons for yes, no and abstain. The operator opens and closes each vote from the management software, and results can be shown by name or in aggregate according to the institution's rules. All the information is available for drawing up the minutes, which reduces errors and speeds up the formalization of resolutions.
Which institutions use in-room electronic voting?
Electronic voting brings order and transparency to any collegiate body that must adopt formal resolutions:
- Municipal councils and their committees
- Regional councils and regional governments
- Boardrooms and shareholder meetings
- Parliamentary committees and legislative plenaries
- Professional associations and trade bodies
Vissonic electronic voting built into the conference system
We use Vissonic systems, which incorporate electronic voting built into the delegate unit, with configurable voting modes and results export. The solution is sized to the quorum of the room and the voting rules of each institution, and can be combined with results screens, session recording and live streaming. We deliver the system with certified cabling, documented functional tests and training for the team that runs the sessions.

Electronic voting FAQ
It does not replace them, it supports them. The system records every vote with its result and timestamp, which makes drawing up the official minutes easier and faster, reducing counting and transcription errors.
