Digital infrared radiator VIS-VLI701A

Model VIS-VLI701A

Imagen 1

Overview

Digital infrared radiator designed to distribute simultaneous interpretation signals to pocket receivers in conference rooms and auditoriums.

Its high optical power, ±25° radiation angle, and range of up to 76 m allow large spaces to be covered with fewer units.

Cable delay compensation and the ability to chain radiators simplify the design of complex systems with many emission points.

Includes thermal protection that automatically switches from full power to half power when the internal temperature is excessive, improving reliability.

Technical specifications

Function

Converts the HF signal from the digital infrared transmitter into an optical IR signal and distributes it throughout the conference space.

Standards

Complies with IEC 61603-7, IEC 60914, and GB 50524-2010.

Compatibility

Compatible with any IR interpretation system compliant with IEC 61603-7.

Radiation Range

Maximum radiation range up to 76 m.

Radiation Angle

Radiation angle ±25°.

Power Modes

Half power / full power selector switch.

Cable Compensation

Adjustable cable delay compensation from the panel with LCD and +/- buttons for different cable lengths between transmitter and radiators.

Synchronization

On/off synchronization function with the transmitter; activates automatically upon receiving a valid HF signal.

Status Indication

Internal LEDs for monitoring standby, working, and fault modes.

Cascade

Ability to connect additional radiators in daisy-chain to cover large areas.

Daylight Use

Designed for use in conference rooms even under intense daylight.

HF Output

HF output 1 Vpp, 6 V DC, 75 Ω to other radiators or from the transmitter.

IR Modules

Approximately 286 IR LED modules, total optical peak approximately 14.3 W/sr.

Power Supply

100–240 V AC 50/60 Hz, typical operating consumption approximately 116 W; standby consumption approximately 6 W.

Mounting

Supports wall mounting with VIS-RAM1 bracket, ceiling mounting, or tripod/floor plate.

Dimensions

Approximately 483.5 (L) × 228 (W) × 200 (H) mm.

Weight

Approximately 7–7.6 kg, dark grey colour.

Key features

  • Compliance with IEC 61603-7 and IEC 60914 and compatibility with other standard IR systems, enabling expansion of existing installations.
  • Maximum range of 76 m with ±25° angle, suitable for plenary rooms, parliaments, and convention centres.
  • Half/high power selector, automatic synchronization with the transmitter, and status monitoring via LEDs and front LCD display.
  • Integrated cable delay compensation to equalize arrival times between multiple radiators in large installations.
  • Robust design for wall, ceiling, or tripod mounting, with a dark grey metal enclosure ready for continuous use in professional environments.
